Documentaries
Wildlife Documentaries give humans an opportunity to appreciate wildlife they would otherwise never witness. With so many animal species becoming endangered or threatened by humans, these documentaries can reinvigorate our admiration for these beings and remind us of our responsibility to protect these vulnerable entities.
Planet Earth is an extensive wildlife documentary produced by the BBC. The producers aimed to capture wildlife from every habitat on earth, ranging from the deep ocean to the Himalayas. It was the most expensive wildlife project commissioned by the BBC, and was also the first to be filmed in high definition.
